Appen USA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Health Data Analyst to join our innovative AppenWell Advocates team. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in analyzing health and wellness data to inform and shape our wellness programs, ultimately improving employee health outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to the development of data-driven strategies that promote a healthy work environment and enhance employee well-being and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze health data from various sources, including wellness program participation, health assessments, and employee feedback surveys.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track wellness program metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the HR team and wellness program managers to translate data findings into actionable insights and strategies.
- Conduct evaluations of wellness program effectiveness, providing recommendations for enhancements based on data analysis.
- Ensure data privacy and security in handling sensitive health information, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams to integrate wellness initiatives with broader organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in health data analysis, preferably in a wellness or healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Python, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of health and wellness metrics and their impact on employee productivity and well-being.
- Experience with data privacy and security practices, particularly in handling sensitive health information.
